Conflict can destroy teams or provide the catalyst for optimal productivity and success.

Conflict, Teams, and Leadership

Conflict can destroy teams. It can also provide the catalyst for optimal productivity and success. Leaders who understand conflict frame it as positive, as the energy necessary to fuel best possible solutions and scenarios.

Aikido is a marital art and team building technology that supports leaders in utilizing and redirecting the energy of conflict. In this interactive presentation, you will learn and practice Aikido principles and techniques such as centered presence and non-resistant leading. And you will gain a physical understanding of the important role the leader plays in conflict situations.

Purpose:

To provide perspective, tools, and activities that support a new look at power, presence, and leadership.

Objectives:

  • Influence by aligning with resistance.
  • Lead through invitation and inspiration.
  • Position conflict as a catalyst for sustainable solutions.
  • Create conversations that value diversity.
